Ferah Hospitality Group is bringing its newest restaurant concept, Herb & Ember, to Firewheel Town Center in Garland, Texas this Spring of 2026.
Herb & Ember is a restaurant and craft cocktail lounge offering creative mixologist-prepared cocktails and upscale new American cuisine with global influences. The upscale yet comfortable interior will provide an ambiance unlike anywhere else in the area. We're bringing something bold to the 'burbs!

The Owners of Herb & Ember
Our owners operate restaurant locations in Garland, Southlake, and Wylie Texas allowing us to serve the larger DFW metroplex. Our owners, Burak Ozcan and Jeremy Berlin, are truly passionate about delicious cuisine, and exceptional hospitality. Together, the Berlin and Ozcan families bring your culinary vision to life.
Chef Burak Ozcan started his career as a chef in the most luxurious five-star resorts across the Mediterranean before making his way to Dallas in 2009. After working with celebrity chefs to open various high-end restaurant concepts, Chef Burak transitioned to leading culinary teams in full-service hotels across DFW and eventually opening the first Ferah restaurant concept in June of 2019.
Chef Burak’s wife, Stephanie Ozcan, overseess marketing for the Ferah family of brands and designed the interior of Herb & Ember and Ferah's three other restaurants: Ferah Tex-Med Kitchen® (Garland and Southlake) and Ferah Smokehouse & Cantina.
Jeremy Berlin brings over 20 years of award-winning hospitality leadership, event, and sales experience to the team. Jeremy has managed large full-service hotels across the country, including multi-million-dollar renovations and the opening of new properties.
Jeremy’s wife, Heidi Berlin, is a vivacious people person who loves connecting with guests and members of our community. As Ferah's Community Relations Director, Heidi oversees community involvement in local events and sponsorships in Southlake and surrounding areas.
